Herrestad B & B / hostel is located along highway 27, 13 km west of the market town of Värnamo.

They have comfortable accommodation for both family and business traveler. The accommodation is situated 9 km from the western town of High Chaparral and also the National Park Store Mosse.

We were there last fall and combined a conference with mushroom picking.


And we got beyond a very good conference and a big harvest of mushrooms also a very good service and cheerful and friendly reception by Lena and Ann-Sofie who did everything perfectly.

Our guardian angel has left us

Our guardian angel, our dog Quinta, has left us as a result of a stroke.

It is now quite, here at home, not to hear her paw and sometimes hear an occasional alert bark.

If there is a heaven, it's certain Quinta will be there. Her life was so interwoven with our lifes, it would take more than an archangel to detangle that.
